Guess the Country is a daily geography game where six progressive clues reveal a secret country one by one. The first clue gives you a population hint. Subsequent clues reveal the continent, a capital city letter, the official language, a geographic feature, and finally the flag colors. The fewer clues you need, the higher your score.
Guessing correctly on the first clue earns 1,000 points. Each additional clue you reveal reduces your potential score by 200 points โ so the sixth clue is worth only 100 points. Type your guess in the search box and select from the autocomplete suggestions, or press Enter to confirm.
Population is a powerful first clue โ countries with over 100 million people are relatively few. Combined with the continent clue, you can usually narrow it down to 5-10 candidates. The language clue is often the most revealing โ if the language is Portuguese, you're looking at Brazil or Portugal. If it's Swahili, think East Africa.
